Selfridges is one of the major luxury retailers in London without an app in the App or Play Store. This concept is my take on what a useful app would be to assist shopping in store.



In order to understand the requirements for such an app I made use of ethnography to understand how people navigate around a store and find items.

This app was purposely not designed to act as an online shopping app. In the contrary, its objective is to augment the shopping experience in store, which is why the starting point was a paper store guide which is handed out by staff to customers.
